Freeland, Maryland

Welcome! Wind and Wool Farm is a homestead located in Northern Maryland. A small flock of sheep and goats call us home. They are: Babydoll Southdowns, Jacobs, Shetlands, Soays and Nigerian Dwarf Goats,. Our sheep are lovingly raised as a spinner's flock. Our backyard chickens  keep us entertained. They include: Australorps, Buff Orpingtons, Jersey Giants, Speckled Sussex, and Silver Penciled Barred Rocks.. Along with our sheep, goats  and chickens, we  grow and harvest hay. It's hard work but very satisfying to be able to provide for your animals. We also grow and process small batches of natural colored cotton and flax.

All creatures great and small enjoy a peaceful life on our farm!
